Blog#2: Inspiration

I took this picture over the summer at Central Park with my friends. This picture made me realize how grateful I should be to be able to go out on a beautiful day and just enjoy it. Yeah this is literally a picture of grass, but even looking back on it now, it changes how I feel about my friends and the outdoors. My friends and I planned this little trip pretty uncertain of what was going to happen, but while we were there, we laid our blanket down, laid there, and just talked. It opened my eyes to how awesome and amazing it is to have such close friends, someone who you can pour out your feelings to without being afraid. Central Park can be an every day norm for some people, but this was a day that changed my way of thinking.

  1. Sometimes a photo of grass is all it takes! Glad you were able to enjoy the sun, grass, and the company of great friends.

  2. I would like to try this sometimes with my group of friends and see if I will get the same experience as you did. I am more of an indoor person and it seems fun to be a different environment, enjoying little things that are all around me and that I take them for granted.

  3. I never would have thought grass would have changed how you looked at your friends. I know how you feel, looking back at a place you were with your friends can bring back so many amazing memories.

  4. I also think that even a picture of grass can invoke a lot of inspiration. I also think that it's important to stop and take a moment to appreciate something as small as grass.
